NSW lead 34-19 at half-time.ĭespite the hosts' commanding lead, NSW coach Lisa Beehag made three changes to her line-up during half-time, bringing on April Letton, Ashlee Weir and Amy Wild. The wing attack's combination with Kimberlee Green and Paige Hadley cut through the Tactix defence with ease and created space and time for Dziwoki and Pratley to rack up a commanding tally. Ware showed glimpses that in the eyes of many, her departure from netball was premature. The Swifts continued their onslaught at the resumption of play by scoring the first five goals of the second quarter. In her final match for the club, Mo'onia Gerrard showed her natural ability for her new code with a no-look flick pass that set up Dziwoki to extend their lead to 17-11 by the first break. Though, Pratley regathered her composure to combine with fellow shooter Carla Dziwoki to begin the Swifts raid on the Tactix goal. Susan Pratley opened their account after a matter of seconds but followed her early effort with a poor miss from close range. Their fast-paced attack created plenty of chances but rusty execution on final delivery prevented them from taking an early lead that the performance deserved.
